About the Book:
Islam has been the pioneer of the divinely ordained human rights throughout the world. Besides introducing universal brotherhood of mankind, it established equality of basic rights for all the descendants of Adam and Eve. As against this, Human Rights in the West were the outcome of two thousand years struggle of the slaves, labors, poor people, women and the oppressed classes.
European nations knew nothing of the human rights up to the beginning of the 17th century. After the colonization of various Muslim and other countries in the world, however, they tried to establish their superiority and the right to rule their subjects on the basis of the superiority of their culture, knowledge and the religion. Consequently, the scholars, historians and missionaries were sponsored by various Christian institutions and the governments to denigrate other religions and cultures of the people in the lands conquered by them. No wonder that they denigrated different cultures and religions especially Islam.
The book, therefore, is a brief review of historical facts showing role of different nations to promote welfare of mankind or to cause unspeakable miseries for humankind on earth. We hope, the unbiased study of the book will help the readers to distinguish falsehood from the truth.
